DriftAway Camping is all about easy, comfortable camping in a ready-pitched safari style tent, situated in your own private meadow, or in our woodland yurt. 

 

All this with just two tents, set in over 2 acres of meadow and woodland.  Avoid the crowds and enjoy relaxing and cooking around the campfire and star-gazing in to the nights.  

So come and get away from it all in the beautiful countryside close to Chard.  Glamping on the borders of Somerset, Devon and Dorset has never been better!
 
From coast and beach to the hills and moors, we’re ideally located to reach almost everywhere in the south west.

 

Camping in comfort

• Enjoy cooking round your own camp fire

• Play in the tiny stream that runs through the woods

• Build camps and play hide and seek

• Head off for great walks and places to explore/visit

• Enjoy the space and freedom for activities, games or just relax in the woods and meadow

 

There is also a small, shallow pond on the far side of the meadow full of newts and frogs.  

 

And if there’s anything else you need we are not too far away, so just ask.

It’s camping in a little bit of style, without the hassle and almost completely on your own, because there’s just the two tents, (hire them both and it's all yours!).

DriftAway Glamping doesn't claim to be at the luxury end of the market, with posh linen, Aga stoves, butler sinks and ensuite facilities.  Instead we offer something more down to earth - comfortable, clean and with everything you need, but without the frills.
